Reflecting on Progress and Setting Goals

All right, RoxStars. It’s been a minute since we’ve had our Soul on Fire Podcast. Your coaching podcast, and your messages from yours truly to your ears to help you stay motivated on track. This year has been incredibly busy for me with the business and just trying to look to the future of where I’m heading. Things with the brand RoxStar Fitness and just recentering the things that matter to me, that I want to get out and share with the world when it comes to fitness.

And so I had to take a little step back to figure out what the heck that looks like. And I’m really excited to just be kind of rolling out this new wave of just consciousness and just connection when it comes to the body and how we’re going to really dig into the four pillars of fitness and what that looks like and why it’s so important for anyone who wants to really get in shape, not only just for the here and now, not only just for the outer appearance, but for a lifetime.

Embracing the Journey

You know, what’s the point of working out and staying active and eating healthy if you’re going to just give it up down the line and let your body go and a host of other health issues come up, and you end up like one of those people who talks about, like back in that back in my day, you know, my heyday, I look like this. No, we want to make sure you’re always looking good, honey. And it comes down to getting down to the why this stuff matters to you. Getting down to just solidifying a lifestyle in fitness. And I hope, and I know that’s what we’re doing when you and I work together closely within, you know, the client end of things.

Building Community and Accountability

This month I’m really looking at ways that I can solidify that even more, just add tons of value for you guys and more importantly, build up our community. We have our wonderful discord server, which unfortunately isn’t used as much as I’d like it to, and I have some ideas that have an announcement that I’ll make about getting that going and what we’re going to be doing. But also, you know, making sure that you guys get on to our group calls because they’re so important.

In fact, the last few weeks, our Wednesday group call has been completely empty. So those of you who usually around for the Wednesday group call, we got to get back in there and get you back on focus. And we’re going to be kind of talking about what that means, like getting on focus and how to get yourself back in the game even when you fall off. That’s our topic for today.

Introducing Monthly Challenges

But one of the things that I am excited about is I have decided to launch challenges for each month. I used to be really opposed to challenges. I don’t know, they just seemed so just complicated and like, as though to me in the past, when I considered it, it just seemed like a lot of work for not a good return.

But I think I was looking at it from the wrong angle. And what I realized is that as the internet and everything has evolved over the last couple of years, I’ve had this online coaching business for 14 years. As of this recording. So it’s been a long time. And things change. Things evolve. The internet has changed, social media has changed, how we connect has changed. And it just makes it easier to kind of run a good challenge and to not only have it for those who may be looking to work with me, but also how to incorporate those of you who are already working with me as an extra layer. If you want to be able to change your bodies and just take things to the next level and just do something that’s fun and gives a little bit more of a sense of community.

Establishing Healthy Habits

So I’m happy to announce that this month I’m going to be launching a new challenge that’s all about establishing healthy habits, and it’s a seven day challenge. And each day you’re going to get a new thing that you got to do. Day one, I have already figured out we’re going to do a one-mile run, and we’re just going to go ahead and time that pace, whether you do it on the treadmill or if you go outside or something like that. Day two I’ll give you guys a really fun, quick workout that you can probably do for you. Since you’re already clients, you have your programs. You can probably do it as a little warm-up because it’s a three-set type of circuit, metabolic circuit that’s really quick, really good pump for you no matter what training day is.

And so that’ll be a lot of fun. Third day we’re going to go ahead and hit group coaching call okay. That’s going to be a part of it. Because you know I love the group calls. And if I gotta get some, get some, get you all to show up again and you know bring some other people into that as well that are in the challenge. That’ll be a lot of fun. You know, you guys love that support. And then I’m going to also be having a workshop in the middle of this as well. And this workshop is going to be available to you guys. You can do it as a live event, as I do it as I host it.

Or if you missed the live event, I will put it here in the client end in our coaching, you know, our, our, our lessons and in that whole area over there. So you can watch the replay, the participants in the challenge, they won’t get the replay. Okay. The replay is just for you guys. But this month I’m going to be doing a master class. And we’ll do a master class every month that I want you guys to make sure you sign up for. These are Live Master classes.

We’re going to be talking about nutrition strategies that get results and keep results in the long term. So I’m going to just break down some things that you need to keep in mind when it comes to your eating, diet strategies that just work and just break apart the whole eating aspect because nutrition is probably the thing that gets so many people stuck.

So, I’ll go ahead and give more details on that when I send out the emails about the challenges. But the challenges are going to be something that I do every single month and is a really great way for you guys to kind of just put an extra layer of fun onto your workouts and, just have that sense of community again and do some things like in a live, real-time kind of setup. So keep an eye out on your email. Make sure you go ahead and get signed up. There will be prizes at the end, you know, for those who are not working with me, I’ll raffle off a free month of coaching.
